JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY:
Responsibilities include but not limited to, analyze proposals and requirements for new jobs, track market trends, ensure proposals are competitive and accurate, enter quotes in PDF/E-data, present a professional image of Motor City Racks, mandatory cross training to other positions.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
· Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
· Identify labor, material and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
· Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
· Keep current with market trends that could affect estimates.
· Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
· Present prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
· Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing the information and trends.
· Maintain cost database by entering and backing up data.
· Log and process quotes.
· Recognize cost extra’s, billable and non-billable.
· Act on cost extra opportunity. (FOC, SS0CC, ECN etc.)
· Job costing, monitor current job costs, purchasing and labor related.
· Able to maintain confidential information

JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY:
· Responsibilities include but not limited to production mig welding, repair welding, grinding, cutting and other duties as required.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
· Weld in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead etc.)
· Weld sub-assemblies and racks as per process sheets and blue prints
· Ensure all products adhere to the production specifications of the customer
· Utilize jigs and fixtures to produce successful parts and report any defects immediately
· Read and interpret blue prints and process sheets
· Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
· Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
· Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears or other metal straightening and bending machines
· Operate hand tools
· Read a tape measure to take critical measurements
· Maintain safe work practices
· Conduct repairs, modifications or retrofits

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsibilities include but not limited to, paint the product with a spray gun, keeping paint booth in good working condition, keeping the spray gun clean and perform maintenance on the equipment in the paint area, follow customer specs and paint processes, and other duties as required.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
· Follow customer specifications for the paint process in regards to each shipping container.
· Complete quality inspections and paint tests on racks prior to shipment
· Paint, stencil or touch up the product before it goes onto the truck
· Ensure all products adhere to the production specifications of the customer
· Must be able to move in various positions to paint the whole container
· Inspect all work, prior to sending it down the line
· Maintain safe work practices
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment
· Participate in continuous improvements programs to increase efficiencies
· Report any hazards to the Plant Manager or Supervisor immediately so corrective action can be taken.
· Practice safe and proper use of machinery and tools
· Perform all other duties as required, aka Teamwork.
Qualifications
· 1+ years’ experience in a manufacturing paint setting
· Electro-static paint experience a plus.
· Prior experience painting vehicles a plus
· Forklift experience a plus
· Ability to stand for long periods of time
· Must have electrical steel toe boots
· Must have reliable transportation
· Must be capable of lifting & maneuvering up to 40lbs throughout the course of the work day.
· Must be capable of working in a manufacturing environment where climate is not controlled.
