JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY:

Motor City Racks is seeking an experienced sales representative with expertise in metal fabrication across the aerospace, agriculture, construction and warehouse automation industry. As our Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and managing new and existing customer relationships within these sectors. This includes identifying potential customers, generating leads, and closing sales of our racking and fabrication solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of these industries and be able to effectively communicate our solutions to potential customers.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

· Identify new business opportunities and generate leads within the aerospace, agriculture, construction and warehouse automation sectors

· Develop and manage relationships with key decision makers in the aerospace, agriculture, construction and warehouse automation industries

· Understand and communicate the unique features and benefits of our racking and fabrication solution

· Meet and exceed sales targets and quotas

· Well-connected in the aerospace, agriculture, construction and warehouse automation sectors

· Good blueprint reading skills and working knowledge of e-Drawings preferred

· Understanding of costing techniques.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver documents and presentations.

· Ability to interact professionally with Customers at all levels.

· Able to work effectively with all departments and associates at all levels of the organization.

Minimum Experience / COMPETENCIES:

· 5+ years of experience in metal fabrication or engineering design and project management

· Ability to read or use CAD programs such as: SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, Fusion 360

· Ability to travel at times

JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY:

Responsibilities include but not limited to programming and operation of brake press,
bending of materials, use of manual and automatic tools, measuring critical dimensions,
working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet production needs. 

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
• Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears or other metal
straightening and bending machines
• Maintain the operation of the brake press to meet production requirements
• Utilize equipment in a safe manor
• Use white samples to ensure product is completed to specification
• Ensure all products adhere to the production specifications of the customer
• Read and interpret blue prints and process sheets
• Inspect all work, prior to sending it down the line
• Read a tape measure to take critical measurements
• Maintain safe work practices
• Assist in training & mentoring newer employees
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment i.e. work station, lunchroom etc.
• Participate in continuous improvements, 5S and 8 Waste initiatives, including and not
limited to processes, production flow etc.
• Report any hazards to the Plant Manager or Supervisor immediately so corrective
action can be taken.
• Present a professional image of Essex Weld Solutions, and a personal commitment
to the safety and well being of all employees.
• Support the Health & Safety Program
• Adhere to Section 28 of OHSA (Canada)
• Practice safe and proper use of machinery and tools

• Must be able to work any 3 shifts and overtime when needed

JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY:

 Responsibilities include but not limited to prepare, assemble, install, test, troubleshoot and
repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and related equipment in all types of buildings and other structures. Work with electrical contractors and building maintenance personnel, duties as required.
 

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
• Read blueprints or technical diagrams
• Solid knowledge of the South Carolina Electrical Code
• Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems
• Install and repair equipment including switches, circuit breakers
• Diagnose/evaluate electrical problems by measuring voltage, loads, ground faults
integrity of circuits
• Connect power to communications equipment, signaling devices and heating /
cooling systems.
• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers
• Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
• Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment
• Maintain safe work practices
• Proactively preparing for upcoming work
• Interacting with various individuals at different levels within the company
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment i.e. work station, lunchroom etc.
• Present a professional image of Motor City Racks, and a personal commitment to

 JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY:

Responsibilities include but not limited to, analyze proposals and requirements for new jobs, track market trends, ensure proposals are competitive and accurate, enter quotes in PDF/E-data, present a professional image of Motor City Racks, mandatory cross training to other positions.

· Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents

· Identify labor, material and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

· Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.

· Keep current with market trends that could affect estimates.

· Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.

· Present prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.

· Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing the information and trends.

· Maintain cost database by entering and backing up data.

· Log and process quotes.

· Recognize cost extra’s, billable and non-billable.

· Act on cost extra opportunity. (FOC, SS0CC, ECN etc.)

· Job costing, monitor current job costs, purchasing and labor related.
